Starter package.
You’re ready to start a new blog but need a domain name and web hosting service to install your WordPress platform. What we provide:
- Recommend a web host.
- Advice on picking and registering a domain name.
- After you purchase 1 and 2 directly from the provider, we install a basic WP blog, business site or combination.
- *** We will install the Thesis theme (without customizations) if you use our affiliate link to buy Thesis. ***
- Turn the ‘keys’ over to you to start writing or uploading your content. We’ll point you to some basic WP help & documentation.
Seasoned package
You need more functionality, like a login for registered visitors. You also need a theme other than those in the free WP gallery. What we provide: (includes Starter pkg)
- Recommend a theme that matches your budget and blog/business topic.
- Add additional plug-ins. Define your basic settings. Advanced membership and e-commerce settings are excluded.
- Install your theme and provide the basic settings, no customized code.
Pro package
Your basic theme options don’t cover the styling, image and colors you want. You want more branding on the site. What we provide: (includes Seasoned package)
- Personalize your theme elements, using our technical knowledge and your existing logo.
- Create a favicon based on your logo, extending your brand.
- Recommend avatar images.
- Create a custom header or background from your existing logo e.g. a text tagline about your blog. If you need a custom logo, we can estimate the additional cost and add to this package.
- Customize framework themes like Headway.
Jumper package
You need to move your blog from Blogger to WordPress. What we provide: (includes Seasoned package)
- Based on your goals for migrating, we convert your existing blog to WordPress, including widgets.
- We recommend themes and install one that suits your business/blog. We can also replicate your blogger design.
- We help you plan the pre- and post- migration steps. e.g. notifying your readers.
- We import your existing Blogger content and redirect traffic and visitors to your new RSS feed. If you’re on a different platform, ask for a custom quote.
